Settings & Customer Numbering

Open Tools > Settings to review numbering, email, and printer preferences.

Customer Numbers

The Customer Number is the visible customer identifier. It is separate from Billing Manager's internal database identity. You can configure a prefix, digit count, and next automatic number.

Example: GW-00001 demonstrates a two-letter prefix and five digits. GW is only an example; it is not required.

Customer Numbers must be unique. Previously used Customer Numbers remain reserved and should not be reused for another customer. You can manually enter or change a Customer Number when the new value passes the uniqueness rules.

Email settings are optional for basic use. Configure them only if Billing Manager will send documents by email.
